Gier Construct was commissioned by Six Izegem to renew the historic saw-tooth roofs of Antwerp’s Montevideo warehouses. Spanning 2 220 m², the project preserved the original 1895 pitch, slim glass profiles and north-facing orientation while upgrading to modern energy-performance, wind- and water-tightness standards using bespoke Forzon aluminium glazing.
This heritage-sensitive restoration now floods the converted offices and retail units with soft, diffused daylight, demonstrating our technical precision and commitment to preserving industrial character under M2 Architecten’s design.
