Care Center Douvenrade

Gier Construct was engaged by Sevagram—delivered for Visserstaal—to clad the facade of the new Zorgcentrum Douvenrade in Heerlen. The six-storey facility measures 58 m × 31 m × 22 m (≈ 1 798 m² footprint) and demanded a high-performance rainscreen that marries durability and energy efficiency with a warm, inviting look for residents and staff.

Our scope covered precision installation of prefabricated cladding panels, meticulous interface detailing around windows and roof penetrations, and comprehensive weather-tight testing—all executed to stringent healthcare-sector standards, on time and on budget.
