Garden center Intratuin Deventer

Gier Construct was commissioned by entrepreneur Hendrik Vreeman to deliver a landmark garden centre in Deventer covering 8 138 m² at ground level with an additional 3 000 m² upper floor for workshops, dining and immersive green-living experiences. From initial site preparation through turnkey fit-out, we coordinated every contractor and supplier under one contract to ensure seamless execution.

At the heart of the 9 000 m² facility stands a monumental greenhouse designed to immerse visitors in “life in the garden,” complete with an orangery event space, farm-to-table restaurant and curated horticultural zones. Collaborating closely with Breddels Architects and SVT, we achieved this sustainable build in just under a year, setting a new benchmark for eco-focused large-scale retail construction.
